Before deciding on the target audience that my film would possibly appeal to, I thought that it would be a good idea to research into the classifications and guidelines of the British Board of Film (BBFC). After viewing many different certificated films with different genres, I narrowed the research down into just the 12/12A and 15 classifications because I think that the fantasy/horror genres are common with their guidelines.
This research has shown me the guidelines that I must follow when planning my film introduction in order to meet the right target audience that I want my film to appeal to.
